We currently have an entry-level opening for a dynamic customer-focused professional with instinctive sales abilities and a desire to grow our business.

The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative is responsible for following up on inbound leads, servicing existing customers, on-boarding new customers and handling customer service inquires/complaints.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls and emails.
  • Answer customer inquiries via phone, web and email.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate sales interest.
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects - keep accurate records and document customer service actions/discussions (Infusionsoft).
  • Become an expert on all QS products – clearly communicate product features, benefits, pricing.
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly sales goals.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through resolution.
  • Handle, track and resolve all customer complaints – incorrect shipments, missing shipments, product issues, etc.
  • As needed/requested by manager - represent sales team at tradeshows and conferences with some weekend work/travel required.
  • Through daily interaction with customers, suggest improvements in the sales/customer service process.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows as needed (in and out of state) - approximately 10 weekends per year.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or High School Diploma with relevant work experience. Minimum 1-year sales/customer support experience and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

The Independent Sales & Merchandising Representative is an independent consultant opportunity and would work remotely servicing retail customers in the Southern California area. The role would be responsible for managing relationships with buyers at the store level, account training, in-store product demonstrations and merchandising product in stores.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Increase portfolio of brands’ presence, visibility and sales in the health food and juice market in Southern California through daily visits to accounts.
  • Manage and develop brands’ distribution and store-based awareness and knowledge.
  • Secure and process orders.
  • Conduct trainings and in-store demonstrations.
  • Set-up displays, merchandise products, help with resets.
  • Keep up with training calls, self-study, and knowledge of industry and product trends and education.
  • Attend regional trade shows, events, and sales meetings as requested by manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred with a minimum of 3-years sales experience, preferably in the natural products category. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

  • Must live in territory and have ability to travel in territory 3-4 days a week to conduct in person store meetings and department visits.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds.
  • Candidate must have: reliable car, driver’s license, car insurance, laptop, smartphone, proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

We currently have an opening for an experienced Category Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies for direct-to-consumer product categories.

The Category Manager-Consumer Marketing will be responsible for developing and managing marketing, product and sales strategies for assigned category - working with the CMO for all activities associated with the consumer business. Success is measured by implementation of the plan, and growth in revenue and profitability over a planned period.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Management of assigned category portfolio, including evaluation of product line extensions, marketing and sales plan development and execution.
  • Development of a formalized process that gives quantifiable reasons to implement category products and programs.
  • Responsible for meeting sales goals and profitability, revenue and marketing category budget.
  • Responsible for introducing, on schedule and on budget, competitive programs that meet or exceed market expectations.
  • Participation as a key member of corporate team through the concept, development, implementation and market introduction for the consumer category.
  • Responsible for sharing, with all stakeholders, features, benefits and performance data to develop accurate, compelling marketing materials.
  • Responsible for collaborating with product development team to sustain core product lines to adapt to market change or to penetrate new markets and address competitive offerings.
  • Recommend programs and promotional activities to strengthen market position for sustained product lines.
  • Develop and maintain product/category marketing plan and roadmaps on key products. Coordinate product planning inputs with strategic and business plans.
  • Coordinate the training of all internal and external sales teams, in relation to the consumer business category.
  • Contribute to design and format planning for all consumer marketing collateral.
  • Key member of the team responsible for coordinating product from concept through completion with Dr. Shade, Including packaging, pricing and margin objectives.
  • Work closely with CMO and President to balance competing business needs.
  • Monitor and report project expenses and process invoices with accounts payable.
  • Help set-up and improve workflow processes when and where needed.
  • Ensure department compliance with established standard policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field with 5+ years’ experience in consumer product marketing. Nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry preferred. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
